
So I’ve heard rumours you can find this in Germany.. This is THE best vegan ice cream I’ve tried so far.. so bad it’s readily available in all supermarkets in the UK and not here.
I’m so stoked anyway and I’m on a hunt to find it..

Haven’t updated in a while.. lack of time, ideas..
Small update on the mother dough, when I tried making bread something went wrong and the dough did not rise even though I kneaded twice with an interval of three hours in between.
So I’ve prepared a new batch the other night and will see how it goes this time.
The problem was that in the end it was not bubbly like after the first 48 hours, I am not exactly sure why. I’ve read somewhere that in summer the mother dough will take less to start fermenting and work best after a couple of times you’ve refreshed it, skipping the 24/12 and 8 hour ones.
I have refreshed it once (the first time, after 48 hours) last night and will see how it is tomorrow night, if it’s very bubbly and if it smells like vinegar then I’ll try to use it then and see if it makes a difference..

It’d forced itself out of the tub and it looked as if somebody had just thrown up in my rucksack..
