Third class for my Macrobiotic course, this week we explored the skin and possible causes for troubled ones like dairy and sugar which seem to be the worst things you can eat if you have problematic skin.
We started out with a nice hearty butternut squash, carrot, red lentil and oat milk soup
Followed with rice with carrots and leek (bottom centre) topped with gomashio and clockwise: baked cauliflower and brussel sprouts with a mustard seed dressing, blanched kale and cavolo nero, a great butternut bean stew with mushrooms and hazelnut butter and finally some cabbage wraps with sauerkraut and mustard (apologies about the photo, it was the best one of the three I took but still rather blurry in places even after editing it)
To finish off a pear and apple juice jelly
